If you are considering making a donation, we thank you for your generosity. Every donation, no matter how large or small, helps us sustain and expand our program offerings to promote and support the well-being, independence and zest for living of seniors and adults with physical disabilities.
The programs and services that your donation supports will provide opportunities for individuals to participate in social, recreational, educational and volunteer activities, and to benefit from social and health services, which go a long way to helping seniors to live safely at home, for as long as possible.
Our members say it best:
“Your telephone calls remind me that I am not alone. You ensure that I am safe and have access to your programs from my home”
‘The Good Companions is my family! I don’t know where I would be without them.”
September 7, 2021
Please note that beginning September 13, all members, visitors, volunteers, instructors, and contractors entering the Centre are required to be fully vaccinated and to provide proof of full vaccination. Please review the full policy here.
Regular hours of operation have resumed (8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday). Members will no longer be required to come to the Centre in cohorts, and will be able to visit the Centre any day of the week.
Can I have lunch at any time?
Lunch will be offered in two seatings– the first seating will be from 11am until 12pm, and the second seating will be from 12:30pm until 1:30pm to allow for sanitizing of the tables. Please note that you must pre-register for lunch as there is limited seating to allow for physical distancing.
Do I have to wear a mask while I am at the Centre?
Yes. You must wear a mask at all times while you are in the Centre, with the exception of during physical activity or while eating, however you must remain physically distanced. Please let us know if you require a mask.
How many people can be in the Centre at once?
Currently we are limited to 50 members per day in the Centre, not including staff or volunteers. This number may change as public health guidance allows.
