If you are considering making a donation, we thank you for your generosity. Every donation, no matter how large or small, helps us sustain and expand our program offerings to promote and support the well-being, independence and zest for living of seniors and adults with physical disabilities.
The programs and services that your donation supports will provide opportunities for individuals to participate in social, recreational, educational and volunteer activities, and to benefit from social and health services, which go a long way to helping seniors to live safely at home, for as long as possible.
Our members say it best:
“Your telephone calls remind me that I am not alone. You ensure that I am safe and have access to your programs from my home”
‘The Good Companions is my family! I don’t know where I would be without them.”
The Good Companions is updating its policy regarding screening, temperature checks and mask wearing.
Effective Monday, June 13th we will no longer be requiring a temperature check when you enter the Centre or an agency vehicle. Everyone is required to self screen prior to entering the Centre and an agency vehicle.

The Government of Ontario has announced that it will be lifting the mask mandate on June 11, in all areas EXCEPT in high risk settings such as long term care and retirement homes. Masks will continue to be required in these settings. Healthcare organizations are being strongly encouraged to keep mask mandates in place for the time being. As a health care provider serving similar clients, The Good Companions mask requirements will remain in place, unchanged.
For the safety of those that we serve and for ourselves, we will continue to require masks to be worn by everyone entering the Centre or Good Companions transportation vehicles.
Thank you for your understanding and support
