Get Moving: Sitting Program DVD and Manual.
This easy to follow 30-minute DVD presents physical activity geared for older adults with a low level of activity. Seniors with some physical limitations will also benefit from Get Moving. The program was developed with the expertise of local physiotherapists and a senior’s fitness instructor. Individual copies $5 each. Construction on Albert Street between Empress and Bronson is scheduled to start on Monday, March 27th. The City of Ottawa is rehabilitating portions of its underground infrastructure along Albert Street, Queen Street, Slater Street and Bronson Avenue. Albert and Slater Street will be reduced to single lanes in each direction starting on this date and lasting until the end of the 2023 construction season.
